Medicinal Analysis:

Guduchi Ghan:

Guduchi is a tridosha shamak medicine. It has been considered by the Acharyas as a good chemical substance for nourishing all the seven dhatus. It mainly works effectively in correcting the insulin receptor. It is effective in Prameha, mainly gives more results in diabetes and bladder disorders.

Latakaranj Ghan:

Latakaranj is astringent, bitter, pungent, hot, Vata-Pitta pacifier and stambhak. It is beneficial in vomiting, piles, worms, leprosy and diabetes. It is also effective in urinary sugar.

Chirayta Ghan:

Chirayta is one of the most famous Ayurvedic herbs. It is a bitter and pitta shamak medicine. It is more beneficial in reducing the sugar level in the body. It is effective in stimulating the secretion of insulin naturally.

Vijaysar Ghan:

Vijaysar has such medicinal properties which are beneficial in the complications caused by diabetes such as heart disease, liver and kidney related disorders.

Amalaki Ghan:

According to the University of Maryland Medical Center, Amla is an effective traditional remedy for preventing pancreatitis. Amla contains a mineral called chromium, which regulates carbohydrate metabolism and makes the body more responsive to insulin, and also controls blood sugar levels.

Haridra Ghan:

Haridra is a Kapha-Vata shamak, Pitta rechaka and Pitta shamak. It reduces blood sugar and cholesterol levels. It improves insulin function and protects beta cells that produce insulin and thus maintains blood sugar levels.

Vrishyagandha Ghan:

Vrishyagandha is beneficial in diabetes. It prevents diabetes by strengthening the Dhatus. It also reduces the chances of diabetes and also increases the immunity of the body.

Yashad Bhasma:

Yashad Bhasma protects the insulin secreting cells in the pancreas and also helps in preventing excessive damage to the cells. In Ayurvedic medicines, Yashad Bhasma is a common ingredient for anti-diabetic treatments.

Bhavana Dravya:

Assimilating the principle of “Mardanam Gunvardhanam” of Ayurvedic sages, to make this formulation more effective, it has been given the Bhavana of Neem Juice, Haridra Juice, Guduchi Juice, Amalaki Juice and Pramehara Kashaya, which together remove the blockage caused by Kapha in the path of Avarana Nadis in the body. It also helps in reducing the blood sugar level. It is beneficial in removing toxins from the body.
