General Introduction
According to Ayurveda Samhita, there are three types of koshas based on gastric fire, mild kosha, medium kosha and cruel kosha. Out of these, patients with mild kosha require very less laxatives, while patients with cruel kosha require very strong laxatives, while patients with cruel kosha are mostly troubled by chronic constipation caused by Vayu dosha and this effective medicine has been prepared as a panacea for chronic constipation.
Ingredients: (Each 500 mg film coated tablet contains)
- Gomutra Haritaki – 100 mg
- Chhardiripu – 50 mg
- Ajwain – 50 mg
- Mishreya – 50 mg
- Vishwa – 50 mg
- Shivakshar pachan churna – 100 mg
- Suddha jaypalbeeja – 20 mg
- Trivrut – 80 mg Bhavana dravya:
- Gomutra – 2 times

Medicinal Analysis:
Gomutra Haritaki:
Gomutra Haritaki is a sure shot remedy used by Vaidyas since ancient times to reduce fat. Gomutra clears the doshas present in the body after fattening in the evening by Lekhan Karma and Haritaki Rechak Karma removes it from the body.
Chhardiripu:
It is beneficial in reducing problems like Chhardi caused by Jaipal Bij and other laxatives. Ajwain:
Ajwain contains thymol and cymene as volatile oil. Ajwain is known as a digestive medicine in Ayurveda. It is said that a single common ajwain is capable of digesting hundreds of types of food. Ajwain helps in improving digestive power by increasing the secretion of digestive juices as well as the activity of digestive enzymes.
Mishreya:
Mishreya is most commonly used to get rid of digestive problems. Its high anti-spasmodic and carminative properties are very effective in relieving serious stomach problems like irritable bowel syndrome. It is helpful in colic-like problems caused by other laxatives.
Vishva:
Vishva promotes digestion and balances Vata. It is useful in various Vata diseases. It is bitter, hot, appetite-enhancing, aphrodisiac. It is a Kapha-Vata shamak. Vishwa is an effective medicine for Vibandh, Anah (obstruction in the movement of air in the stomach) and Shoola (stomach pain).
Shivakshar Pachan Churna:
It is an ideal mixture of Vata-Anti-flatulence herbs which is the trusted medicine of Vaidyas for its digestive stimulant effect. It has a quick effect in clearing the undigested food, gives relief from Vibandh, Burning sensation, stomach ache, bloating, belching and gas trouble and makes digestion normal.
Shuddh Jaipal Bij:
Jaipal Bij has a lot of properties that strengthen the digestive system, due to which it helps in improving the digestive system and running the digestion process smoothly. Due to smooth digestion, it is beneficial in removing the problem of constipation.
Trivrit:
According to Acharya Charak, in chapter 25 of Charak Sutrasthan, it is written about Trivrit that “Trivrit Sukhavirechanam” it means that this substance is the best in removing Vibandh without any trouble. Its purgative is considered to be the best especially in abdominal diseases, Vata-Rakt, Rheumatism, Asthma, Cough and all Kapha-Vata diseases.
Bhavna Dravya:
Assimilating the principle of “Mardanam Gunvardhanam” of Ayurvedic sages, Gaumutra Bhavna has been added to make this formulation more effective, which cures all the disorders and infections of the digestive system.
Dosage :
1-2 tablets twice in a day or As directed by physician
