Modern science believes that most colds and coughs are caused by allergies or viral and bacterial infections. Whereas according to Ayurveda, it is a disease caused by Agnimandaya and Dosha Dravya Samurchana. Keeping in mind the combination of modernity and Ayurveda, this medicine mixed with Bhasma and herbal medicines has been invented. It gives quick results in all types of colds and coughs. It is also very effective in curing colds and coughs from the root.

Ingredients: (Each 500 mg film coated tablet contains)

1. Nag gutika – 70 mg
2. Suddha vatsanabh – 5 mg
3. Shati – 50 mg
4. Kantakari ghan – 50 mg
5. Trikatu churna – 150 mg
6. Tulsi patra – 50 mg
7. Vanshalochana – 50 mg
8. Dalchini – 50 mg
9. Dhatur patra – 15 mg
10. Abhrak bhasma – 10 mg Bhavana dravya:
11. Nagarvel swaras – 1 time
12. Tulsi swaras – 1 time
13. Pathyadi kashay – 1 time

Medicinal Analysis:

Naaggutika:

This medicinal plan described in the Ayurveda book named Rasantra Saar is extremely beneficial in Chronic & Acute Cough.

Shuddha vatsanabh:

This is a medicine which gives quick results. It also cures the fever that occurs during Cough & Cold and provides relief in the troubles by reducing the secretion of Kapha.

Shati and Kantakari Ghan:

Both of these are very effective in stomach purification, Agni Vardhak, Kapha Shamak and Kapha Vikara caused by allergy. It is helpful in curing cold and cold from the root.

Trikatu, Tulsi Patra, Vanshlochan and Cinnamon:

It is very hot, Kapha destroyer, Agni Vardhak, cough-asthma-cold cure and excellent infection cure. It cures the process of excessive Kapha formation by the Mucous Gland and by excreting the Kapha in the form of stool, expels it from the body through the right path. It also provides instant relief in nasal congestion, shortness of breath, headache etc. during cold and flu.

Dhatura Patra:

It is a quick-acting cough remover. It is useful in dissolving the symptoms of cold and reducing allergies. It cures cough and cold caused by bacterial and viral infections.

Mica Bhasma:

It is the best chemical that strengthens the respiratory system. In Ayurveda, it is very useful in curing all the diseases of the upper and lower respiratory system from the root and increasing the efficiency of the lungs. It cures cough and cold and also strengthens the immune system of the organs connected to it.

Bhavana Dravya :

As per the principle of “Mardanam Guna Vardhanaam” of Ayurvedic sages, this formulation has been made more effective by adding the ingredients of Nagarvel Swaras, Tulsi Swaras and Pathyadi Kashaya, which are excellent antibacterial and antiviral, stimulates Dhaatvagni, Pachak agni and Jatharagni, cures the Kapha produced from food and has the capability to cure all types of respiratory diseases.

Dosage :
