General Introduction
Resinous extracts and pigments are naturally found in abundance in Manjistha. That is why it is the best medicine for blood disorders and skin diseases. It is also very beneficial in skin disorders, leprosy, inflammation and diabetes. It is very inconvenient to take herbal medicines in powder or kadha form due to their taste and quantity. To solve this problem, in this tablet, a mixture of ghansatva and powder of Manjistha prepared by Ayurvedic method has been given 4 Bhavna of Manjistha kashaya. That is why this 500 mg tablet is as effective as 3 grams of Manjistha powder.

- Manjistha – 250 mg
- Manjistha ghansatva – 250 mg
- Manjistha kashay bhavana – 4 times

Medicinal analysis:
According to Ayurveda, Manjistha helps in cleansing the blood and making the skin healthy. Manjistha is madhur, tikta, ushna, heavy to digest and helps in reducing Kapha. It is a cure for poison, cough, swelling, vaginal diseases, leprosy, blood disorders, diabetes, hoarseness of voice and helminths. Manjistha has been described in Varnya, Vishaghna and Jwarhara Mahakashaya of Charak Samhita for the treatment of herpes. It has also been counted in Priyangvaadigan and Pittasamana Dravya of Sushruta Samhita. It is an excellent Aartavjanan. Its consumption makes the urine red in colour.
