General Introduction
Punarnava contains chemical components like Punarnavine (0.04%) and Potassium Nitrate (0.52%). That is why it is very useful in diseases like dysuria, inflammation, heart disease and anemia. It is very inconvenient to take herbal medicines in powder or kadha form due to their taste and quantity. As a solution to this problem, in this capsule, a mixture of ghansatva and powder of Punarnava prepared by Ayurvedic method has been given 4 Bhavanas of Punarnava Kashaya. That is why this 500 mg capsule is as effective as 3 grams of Punarnava powder.

- Punarnava moola – 250 mg
- Punarnava ghansatva – 250 mg
- Punarnava moola kashay bhavana – 4 times

Medicinal analysis:
Punarnava is anti-inflammatory, cooling, cardiac stimulant, colic and diuretic. It is used in inflammation, heart disease, ascites, anemia and dysuria and kidney disorders. It has a special effect on the kidneys and urinary system. Therefore, it is diuretic and anti-inflammatory. It also has a good effect on the circulatory system and the heart. Due to the presence of potassium nitrate, it increases the contraction capacity of the heart muscles. While other diuretic medicines reduce the amount of potassium nitrate in the body, Punarnava is a diuretic as well as a potassium provider.
